All About Mrs. Kramb
I'm thrilled to be a Sardis Bear as I start my 26th year in UCPS!
Our UCPS Family - Our youngest attends Porter Ridge High School and our oldest graduated from Porter Ridge High School in 2021.
Our oldest is a Tar Heel and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in May 2024.
During my years with UCPS, I have had the opportunity to do many different jobs:
Classroom teacher - 2nd, 4th, & 5th grade (My first teaching job was at Sardis Elementary as a 5th grade teacher!)
Literacy Facilitator/Curriculum Coordinator
Reading/Writing/Math Interventionist
AIG for the last 9 years
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and lived there for 24 years. Growing up in Columbus means that you are a Buckeye "FANatic" - Go Bucks! I graduated from Ohio University with my bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Fine Arts then continued my education by earning a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with an add-on graduate degree in Reading K-12. Later in my career, I completed another add-on graduate degree for AIG certification through Wingate University. I feel very fortunate to be passionate about what I do and to get to work with your children everyday!
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my family walking on the local Greenways, walking our dog (and baby of the family), Millie, hiking, kayaking, traveling to Ohio and to the beach, and reading whenever possible. I also love to write and have fulfilled one of my dreams of publishing children's books. Both of my books are in the Union County Libraries and are on Amazon. I started freelancing for parenting magazines a few years ago and hope to find more time to continue to write in the upcoming year. I am looking forward to a productive year of learning and watching your children grow!
