Who We Are
We are a student chapter of the nationally recognized Wildlife Society. We welcome all students who are interested in wildlife, natural resources, and the environment in general.
(The Wildlife Society)
TWS’s mission is to represent and serve the professional community of scientists, managers, educators, technicians, planners, and others who work actively to study, manage, and conserve wildlife and its habitats worldwide.
Dues are $5 a semester or $10 for the year. We also recommend that you become a member of the state and national chapters as well.
Meetings are normally held in W.C. Morris. We also maintain a bulletin board and calendar on 3rd floor W.C. Morris. Meeting times and upcoming events are regularly posted!
T-shirts and coffee mugs with our chapter's logo are also available for purchase.
Nature Central Environmental Education Center
UCM's Department of Biology and Earth Science would like to invite everyone out to NCEEC for programs and workshops. There are SEVERAL opportunities for TWS members to volunteer! Check out our website.
