When in Doubt, Try a Different Browser!
Web applications can perform very differently depending on the Internet browser you are using. If you are having problems with a web application (such as MyCentral, Google, Blackboard, etc.) trying opening that same application in a different browser. You may suddenly see the button you were missing in the other browser, or be able to download/upload that file that was giving you trouble in the other browser.
For Blackboard, use the handy browser and plug in check.
