I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, where I am a doctoral fellow at the UChicago Urban Labs (Education & Crime). My primary research focuses on the processes by which school policies and practices influence the socioemotional development of adolescents. I have a secondary line of work examining teacher quality measurement and policies to reduce inequality in the teacher quality distribution.

I am on the job market in the 2016-2017 academic year and will be attending both APPAM and AEA.
