Cosmology in Northern California 2011

We are pleased to announce the eighth annual Cosmology in Northern California (CINC) Conference. The CINC series aims to bring the local cosmology community together and offers a great opportunity for young researchers to broaden their exposure. All researchers in the region (or who happen to be around) are welcome to this informal gathering, and we especially encourage new members of the community to participate.  In the past, attendance has been quite good, with participants from Davis, Berkeley, Stanford, SFSU, USF, SLAC, KIPAC and Santa Cruz.

This year's meeting will follow the same format as in previous years, with short (10 min.) talks and plenty of time for discussion. In particular, we encourage (and will give preference to) talk contributions from grad students, postdocs and new faculty.

We will also be organizing an informal social dinner after the meeting at a variety of restaurants in downtown Davis. Signup sheets for the restaurants will be available at the beginning of the conference and reservations will be made accordingly.

Be sure to check out the Davis Wiki for all things Davis.
