Update summary on the Rental Property, from Consistory

1. Members of the Property Team and Pastor met with our tenant on Saturday July, 28 and arranged a move-out day no later than November 1, 2018.

2. To assist our tenant the church will:

a. Give free rent for the next 3 months, to save up for a deposit on a new home.

b. A successful sign-up for S.S has been completed.

c. A home in Wadsworth was located, but it went very quickly and we did not get it. We continue to look with our tenant for new housing within budget.

d. When the property is vacated we will return the security deposit in full.

3. After our tenant moves out GLO personnel will "Winterize" and secure the house in November.

4. In the spring we will decide whether to sell the house, use it for another purpose or tear it down.

Bertsch Lounge Makeover

A special note of THANKS to everyone who helped clear the room after church yesterday. The new flooring is being installed this week and the old furniture donated to Habitat for Humanity Wednesday August 22nd

If you haven’t noticed yet, stop by and poke your head in, Bertsch Lounge is getting a beautiful new facelift! This will include: fresh wall paint, refurbishing some existing furniture, purchasing new furniture and an overall clean up and out.

And you will have the opportunity to contribute to the project by making memorial gifts.

Check out the list that is available during coffee hour to choose an item to sponsor and name after someone you love. Your purchase and dedication will be posted in the newly finished room on the day of dedication. Please note, we are not looking for donations, we are seeking sponsors for preselected items.

Hear Our Prayer…

Dear Lord, I turn to You with a prayer for the sick. Bless those who are injured or infected. Calm those who are distraught. Comfort those who are afflicted or aggrieved. Bring healing, wholeness and a sense of well-being to all whom we pray for...

Pray the list of the People, concluding with:

Lord, hear our prayers. Blessed are You, my God, Source for recovery, Source of Life. Amen.
