UB Learning Resource Center

The UB Learning Resource Center supports the mission vision of the university by providing academic resources vital to liberal education, by teaching research skills and promotes information literacy necessary for lifelong learning. It aims to serve as a hub of information and gives quality services to the whole university community.
      The Main Library is housed at the Founders Hall which is beside the Javier Hall. It is air-conditioned and designed for individual or group study, viewing and discussion purposes. The center has a fully integrated library automated catalog searching, circulation, cataloging and inventory system. Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) terminals are located on its entrance.
     The center practices open shelf system for easy access of materials. Internet access and audio-visual materials are also available as supplementary sources of information. The Museum and the Batangas Heritage Center is an added feature of the center for the study of history and culture.
    There are three (3) satellite libraries; Law Library, High School Library and Elementary Library and a unit library; Graduate Studies Library. The Law Library is located at the fourth floor of the Western Hall whose primary concern is to provide services to law students and faculty members. The High School Library is situated at the third floor of the Catapang Hall which caters the needs of the high school community. The Elementary Library is located at the downtown campus which serves the elementary pupils as well as the faculty members. On the other hand the Graduate Studies Library is located at the ground floor of the Founders Hall which provides services to the graduate students and faculty members.

UBLRC goes hi-tech. ProQuest Subscription gives UBLRC access to scholarly journals, professional trade publication and magazines. Link to access PROQUEST had been incorporated in eBrahman. Instruction on how to access the software is likewise included.

ProQuest Research Library provides one-stop access to thousands of full-text periodicals from one of the broadest, most inclusive general reference databases ProQuest has to offer. Search from a highly-respected, diversified mix of scholarly journals, professional and trade publications, and magazines covering over 150 subjects and topics in all instances.
