This year, the International Symposium on Spatial and Temporal Databases (SSTD 2011), in its 12th edition, has an individual track and program committee for evaluating demonstration submissions (aka, "demos").
SSTD 2011 is the 12th event of a series of biannual symposia that discuss research in spatial, temporal and spatio-temporal data management. Aligned with this mission, the demos committee invites submissions of short papers, describing demonstrations of systems (developed or under development) related to the topics of interest of the main event.
The selection criteria for the demonstration proposals include: the novelty, the technical advances and challenges, and the overall practical attractiveness of the demonstrated system. Accepted contributions will be presented at a special demo session during the symposium and will be included in the proceedings of SSTD 2011. The best demo paper, as selected by the Demonstrations PC and co-Chairs, will be recognized with "SSTD 2011's Best Demo Award."

Demo submissions should have a maximum of 5 pages in LNCS format and will be included in the proceedings. Up to 4 pages are to be used to describe the scientific background, and one additional page should describe the nature of the demonstration that
will be given at SSTD 2011.
