Creativity

There is a growing literature that stresses the importance of creativity in contemporary societies. It is less widely appreciated that creative skills and attitudes and processes can be taught. We can thus prepare students to develop novel programs or products for both business and government.

The most well-known book is Richard Florida's Rise of the Creative Class, first published in 2002. He published The Rise of the Creative Class, Revisited in 2012 with Basic Books.
