Combinations are frequently made with adjectives/adverbs (As with things, the notation for these properties would be italicized when used to identify a relationship):

• Suffer is (experience)(bad)

• Cause to succeed is (cause)(X)(successful)

• Decorate is (cause)(decorated)

• Fortify is (cause)(safe). Protect or Defend is (facilitate)(safe). Defend oneself is (practice)(safe). Camouflage is (disguise)(for)(protect).

• Brutalize is (cause to be)(brutal) or (act)(brutally) [we thus reduce the ambiguity in the word itself] Exploit is (dominate)(unethically).
