I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) [former AICML], Department of Computing Science, and the Computational Psychiatry Group, Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta. I use machine learning techniques to generate predictive models of mental illness using large datasets of functional magnetic resonance images (fMRI). I work under the supervision of Professors Russell Greiner and Serdar Dursun, and Dr. Irina Rish, researcher at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, via a collaboration formed by the IBM Alberta Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS), who provided initial funding and support for this project.
