Madison Fankhanel is a recent graduate from the University of Alberta with her BSc. in Honours Psychology, with a Research Certificate and a Certificate in Applied Social Science Research. Joining the ARC team as a Research Coordinator, she is excited to work alongside a team of experts in the field. She is currently working on the Next-Gen Infant Sibs study, a Community-Based Participatory Research Project, and assisting with ECHO Autism training. Madison is currently applying for her Masters in Counselling and Clinical Psychology, and looks forward to working as a Registered Psychologist one day. She hopes to specialize in treating clients with neurodevelopmental disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder, while aiming to incorporate a decolonizing framework into her practice.
In her spare time, she likes to read (memoirs, thrillers, fiction), make art, play Stardew Valley, and take her dog, George Fruit Bat Jones, to the dog park.
