I'm an associate professor of Economics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs at the College of Business. I am a labor economist who uses both empirical and experimental methods. My research interests include the study of open source software, public goods, and the effects of religion and religiosity on adult outcomes like education, income, denominational choice, and economic growth. I enjoy mentoring students and involving undergraduates on research projects, and have done so on a range of topics.
