Spitting Game: The College Hookup Culture. Screening and discussion with documentary filmmaker Denice Evans. Wednesday, October 12, 7:30 PM at the McCormick Tribune. Spit game. Hit it. Tap that. Put out. Hook up. Sure, we've got a lot of names for it - but that doesn't mean we don't have questions. Like what does "hooking up" actually mean? Or what is "hookup culture," for that matter? And if it's a culture we're all living in, how do we figure out our own personal boundaries when it comes to hooking up? How do we learn to say no when we mean it and to say yes when we mean it? How can we communicate what we want to get the most out of our sex and love lives? We don't claim to have the answers for everyone, but SHAPE's Fall speaker, Denice Evans, just might shed some light on the topic. Join SHAPE and Denice for a screening of "Spitting Game," her documentary about the risks and realities of the college hookup culture Oct. 12th at 7.30pm. Stick around for our discussion and we'll all do our best to help you figure the answers out for yourself!
