  • Registration is open for the GCF Midwest Conference!
The GCF Midwest Conference will be Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, January 16-17, 2015, and will be held at Northwestern University, with attendees from other universities in the area including University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and University of Chicago. Our speaker this year is Dr. Terrence Halliday, a frequent speaker with both InterVarsity's Graduate and Faculty Ministry and the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, who is Co-Director of the Center on Law and Globalization; Professor with the American Bar Foundation; Adjunct Professor of Sociology at Northwestern University; and Adjunct Professor at the School of Asia and the Pacific, Australian National University. He is specializes in globalization of law, markets and politics, and is the author of many books and articles on global governance and regulation in trade, human rights and democracy.

The theme for the Conference is  "Engaging the University" and we will be considering questions such as:
    • How can we establish and enrich crucibles of Christian leadership?
    • How can Christian grad fellowships become incubators of effective scholars?
    • What are the debates we find in our university and or faculties?  How can find out what those debates are?  And how can we prepare ourselves to engage in those debates thoughtfully and helpfully?

Please register here for the conference. If you have any questions, please email Lauren at lfsturdy@gmail.com.
