2015 Collegiates

63rd USHA National Collegiate Handball Championships

hosted by Pacific University of Portland, OR February 18-22, 2015

TAMU Handball won the National Title as a combined (men & women's) team competing in division DII (mostly players who learned handball in college). Our top six men and women point earners scored 3,468 points vs. runner-up Angelo State University's 2,592. Remaining teams in DII were Michigan State, University of Illinois, Utah State University and University Western Florida. Overall, thirty one Universities were in attendance at National Collegiates 2015.

 

Individual Awards at Nationals

Macie Morris (in maroon) junior 1st year player from Seymour, Texas, won the Women's DI-C National Championship in her sixth match of the tourney. With a varied barrage of tough serves Macie defeated Lindsey Boelter of Utah St. 21-7, 15-21, 11-0 for the title. Congrats!

Bill Foran (in green) grad student 1st year player from Dallas, Texas was runner-up in Men's DIII-A to Steven Roy of Missouri St. 21-13, 16-21, 5-11. Battling a hamstring - knee injury the young Marine did all the leg would allow. Semper Fi!
