Art is  more than just drawing and painting in Mrs. Mundt's art room.  Art can occur everyday.  It can be use to problem solve, to plan, to process.  Everyone can make art in their way!

Many of the art classes use Google Classroom so please speak with your student to log in to see the assignments.  

About Mrs. Mundt

Mrs. Samantha Mundt attended Bennington College for her Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Photography.  After working at the ICA in Boston, she decided to go back to school to be an Art Educator at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University.  Sam lives in Bennington with her husband, dog Kirra and toddler Matilda.  She teaches art because she wants to foster creativity in everyone.

Community Quilt Squares

7th graders learned printmaking and reflected on their identity 
on fabric squares that will hopefully be made into a quilt that 
will hang in the middle school.

Dia de los Muertos!

8th Grade students researched the Dia de los Muertos traditions and symbolism. Then, they created masks that experimented with three different kinds of paper mache.
