Hello! My name is Beck
y Bushey.  I grew up in Braintree, Vermont and graduated from Randolph Union High School in 1992. After graduation, I trekked to Ohio and received my Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics at Cedarville University in 1996.

Despite the horizontal precipitation, we enjoyed the Midwest so much that we stayed for an additional five years after graduation.  I taught at Warner Junior High and Xenia High School in Xenia, Ohio for four years. My husband and I returned to Vermont in 2001, at which time, I spent nine years as a stay at home mom. An amazing nine years!

I began teaching online for the Virtual Learning Academy Charter school in the Fall of 2009. From 2010-2013 I worked at the River Valley Technical Center as the Math Integration Instructor and the Dean of Students for the Vermont Virtual Learning Cooperative (VTVLC). I am returning for my fourth year at Green Mountain Union High School.

Currently, I live in Springfield with my husband of 21 years, Ben, and our two children Dakota and MacKenzie. Dakota (Cody), is a junior at Springfield High School and MacKenzie is in sixth grade at Riverside Middle School.

Teaching is an amazing opportunity and a career that I love. I look forward to a great year.
