About Our Organization

Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 997 is located in Ashburn, Virginia and is proud to be affiliated with St. Theresa Catholic Church. We are a boy-run, non-denominational, organization dedicated to instilling the principles of Boy Scouting into all those willing to learn. Our adult leaders act simply as advisers to the boys.

We are an active troop focused on:

• Character Development

• Citizenship Training

• Mental and Physical Fitness

The activities of the troop are designed to be instructive, challenging, and fun. They fall into three main areas:

• Weekly Troop Meetings with Patrol activities

• Monthly Outings

• Annual Summer Camp
