A results driven, comprehensive non-profit business, the Community Action Partnership of North Alabama will reduce or eliminate the causes and consequences of poverty in North Alabama. Serving Morgan, Lawrence, Cullman, Franklin, Colbert, Cherokee, Dekalb, Jackson, Marshall, Blount, Marion, Winston and Walker Counties in North Alabama.

ADECA LEARN

The U.S. Department of Labor and the Alabama Department of Economic and community Affairs (ADECA) are working together to fund a new program for the State of Alabama, called LEARN (Launching Entrepreneurs Across Rural Networks). This program provides business start-up training and counseling for dislocated workers and veterans. The result is to help LEARN participants understand business practices through training courses and provide mentoring to facilitate starting a business.
