Programs may be unable to access some network locations after if User Account Control is enabled.
If you cannot disable UAC for whatever reason, add the following registry key setting and restart the machine.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"EnableLinkedConnections"=dword:00000001

Run > regedit

Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System] and create New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Rename to EnableLinkedConnections.

Modify value to 1.

Restart machine once done.
