Transy on Two Wheels
Student employees manage the centrally located shop to provide students with a free and easy way to get around town. The Shop also plans and coordinates regular trips to local cafés and restaurants, long-distance day trips, multi-day trips, May Term's Tour de Kentucky, and Bike to Work Day. These events educate riders about riding in traffic and demonstrate how simple it is to get around Lexington on two wheels. Transylvania's campus is compact, and getting around on bicycle is a practical and healthy choice. Transy Bikes! was born from the creativity and drive of Transy students, and continues to be a student managed and operated bike program.
