About Us

Our Beliefs

The community of Williams Science and Fine Arts Elementary Magnet, understand in order for our students to “become miracles”, they need to be lifelong learners who are responsible, contributing members of society. As a community of parents, students and staff we believe our mission and district outcomes can be achieved because:

  • All students can learn
  • Productive citizens recognize the value of diversity
  • Parents, students, staff and community are responsible for achieving academic excellence
  • Learning is a life-long skill
  • Everyone is responsible for their choices
  • Science and the Fine Arts are building blocks of problem solving and creativity, which develops each child’s potential

Mamie Williams encouraged her students to “be a miracle”. Inspired by Mamie’s dedication to the education and development of children, the teachers, parents, and students of Williams Magnet continue to strive for the same high standard today.

School Spirit

School spirit is important at Williams! Our students recite the school motto, school song, and the Pledge of Allegiance daily during the morning announcements.

School Song

It's Great To Be A Wildcat!

It’s great to be a Wildcat,

To Williams we’ll be true

We’ll work “to be a miracle”

And be proud of all we do!

Each brick will tell our story

Of Williams glory days

Each window reflects the faces

Of those who’ll pass this way!

It’s great to be a Wildcat,

To Williams we’ll be true

We’ll work “to be a miracle”

And be proud of all we do!
