Ms. Aryn McCoy - Dean of Students

Hello and welcome to Division One at Topeka High School! Division One works with students last names A-K, I specifically will be working with students with the last names E-K. This is my 17th year at Topeka High School and I am well versed in many of the traditions that run rich through this school. This year, I am looking forward to filling Topeka High School’s newly created position, Dean of Students. I will be working not only with students, but also parents, teachers and any outside community liaisons which are involved. I will continue in my role as AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) building coordinator, working with district and building administration to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society. Previously, I have worked as a special education teacher and started my career at Topeka High School as a special education paraprofessional. I have also coached for a great deal of my career which includes Dance Team (5 years), Women's Volleyball (15 years). I will continue as the Head Women's Softball coach with this being my 16th year.

About me:

I am currently working on my third Master’s Degree in Administration through Emporia State University and am looking forward to finishing up in May! I have two Jack Russell fur babies, Jaci and Milli. They are exactly what I need when I get home to make me laugh! I enjoy being outside, whether I am working in my yard, going for a walk, taking a hike or simply going for drives with the windows down! I, of course, love the game of softball and take in as much of it as I possibly can. I look forward to another exciting year at Topeka High School!
