Mr. Anderson

I have been teaching at Topeka High since 2009. I have lived in Topeka all my life; I graduated from Seaman High School, and I received my degrees from Washburn University. While at Topeka High School, I've taught several science and alternative education classes. I have also been involved with the School Improvement Team, Equity Team, School Climate Team, District PreK-12 Science Curriculum and Assessment Team, District New Teacher Mentoring Program, Tower Time Extended Learning Center, and the summer school Turn-It-Around Program. Additionally, I have been an instructional coach for the District Literacy Cadre, a Faculty Co-Adviser for the Topeka High School chapter of the National Honor Society, the Chair for the Topeka High School Science Department, the Consulting Teacher for grades 6-12 science in our district, and a Field Educator with the STEM Program for the Kansas State Department of Education. Outside of the classroom, my interests include good books, music, movies, World of Warships, zombies, and target shooting.
