Parent Teacher Organization

You are invited! HPC Parents, guardians & staff are welcome to attend Parent Teacher Organization & Site Council meetings each month.

PTO participants will meet to discuss a variety of issues that take place at the school. Examples include: developing a school comprehensive plan, developing student discipline plan, holiday celebrations, academic achievement and grade level recognition, and planning the next fundraiser or Scholastic Book Fair.

Our sincere hope is that every parent and staff member will make the PTO a priority during the school year. Your input and suggestions are wanted and needed.

Everyone is invited. Please plan to attend. A light snack will be served. Childcare will be provided.

PTO objectives:

· To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school and the community.

· To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

· To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

· To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education.
