The reason for the odd number of original rooms is because no structure other than the royal palace could be built with 100 rooms or more – no matter the person’s wealth or power.  Seongyojang is the perfect example to understand “Traditional Korean Geomancy”.  It was said in olden days that it was good luck to build a house with a mountain at its back and a river in its front and that is the exact location of Seongyojang.  Later return to our hotel in Yangyang.

Upon arrival at Kangwon Land, take a “gondola ride” up to the mountain top of High 1 Ski Resort to enjoy a bird’s eye view across to Mt. Baekwoon’s changing of colors into autumnal tints.  We will check in at the Kangwon Land Casino Hotel for the next two nights.  “GOOD LUCK IN THE CASINO”!
