OCT. 12 (MON) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. Free Movies & Drinks.

OCT. 13 (TUE) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO,
HOTEL METROPOLITAN 
Arrive at Narita International Airport, and after government formalities, proceed by bus to the hotel in Ikebukuro, one of Tokyo’s multiple city centers. Hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Shopping District near the Ikebukuro Train Station. After hotel check-in, FREE TIME to meet your relatives and friends, go shopping, or just rest. Your tour guide will take you to Holo Holo around the hotel.

OCT. 14 (WED) LAKE SUWA,
RAKO HANANOI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨ 
Head to Lake Kawaguchi a very popular resort area located at the foot of Mt. Fuji. If the weather is fine a magnificent view of the Symbol of Japan "Mt. Fuji" can be enjoyed. Go to Katsunuma, particularly famous for its grapes and wines. After enjoying a “Hoto Nabe, local food in Yamanashi” lunch, have fun Grape Picking which is right in season. “Taste the Fresh and Sweet Japanese Grapes”, as many as you like! Later proceed to Lake Suwa, sitting at an altitude of 2,500 feet and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Visit the Shinshu Miso Factory. Shinshu Miso is widely loved throughout Japan. See a place where this local miso is made and enjoy shopping for a wide variety of miso flavored foods sold here. Then go to our hotel located close to the lake. Enjoy a delicious "Japanese Kaiseki Dinner" in the evening. And a good chance to try the relaxing Hot Spring Bath with Sake-buro Bath & Open Air Roten-buro Bath with lake view. A Private Onsen Bath (3 rooms) is also available (At Your Own Expense).

OCT. 15 (THU) AZUMINO,
NAGANO HOTEL AMBIENT AZUMINO (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning enjoy “Apple Picking”. Taste the “Juicy and Sweet” Nagano Apple which is in season. Nagano Apples are noted for its sweetness and great color. Then proceed to Matsumoto, a tranquil old castle town nestled by the sublime Japan Alps. Visit its main attraction, Matsumoto Castle designated as a National Treasure. Its “Oldest Castle Donjon Remaining in Japan” has been praised as “One of the Most Complete and Beautiful” among “Japan’s Original Castles. Later head to Azumino, a picturesque valley settled below the strikingly beautiful Japan Alps Mountains. Visit Daio Wasabi Farm (Japanese Horse-Radish Farm) “Japan’s Biggest Wasabi Farm” which has been loved because of its picturesque beauty. Enjoy peacefully strolling and shopping for Wasabi products. This night’s accommodation is a nice resort hotel overlooking the Northern Japan Alps with surroundings of nature. Enjoy soaking in the Hot Spring Bath and Roten-buro (Open Air Bath) while viewing the beautiful mountains.

OCT. 16 (FRI) TOYAMA,
TOYAMA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Enjoy a Whole Day Sightseeing Trip to the “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route”. This is a fascinating journey through glorious alpine scenery with a superb view of 9,045 feet high mountains from the convenience of a Cable Car, Bus, Ropeway and Trolley Bus. First visit Kuroyon Dam. Traversing Japan’s tallest dam on foot is a definite highlight because of its scale and elevation. Then catch the under-mountain cable car to Kurobe-daira and take the ropeway to Daikanbo to enjoy seeing the magnificent scenery of the Japan Alps. If timing is right, we will see the exquisite sight of red and orange autumn leaves as they dye the mountain side with vibrant colors. Then board the tunnel bus for Murodo Plateau (8,038 feet high), the highest altitude station in Japan. Then down to Tateyama and proceed to the hotel in Toyama City located near Toyama Train Station and connected to a department store with a 100 Yen Shop. Enjoy “Holo-Holo” and Shopping after hotel check in.

Then head to our hotel located in a comprehensive park facing the Japan Sea. Heal your fatigue with the Onsen Hot Spring Bath!

OCT. 18 (SUN) KYOTO,
MIYAKO HOTEL KYOTO HACHIJO
Enjoy Shopping at the Big “Nihonkai Fish Market”. Nearly 70 Shops carrying Dried Seafood, Seaweed and Local Souvenirs, etc. from the Japan Sea. Then proceed to Hikone, a former castle town on the shores of Lake Biwa Japan’s largest lake. Visit the Castle Road of Yumekyobashi, located at the castle site of “National Treasure Hikone Castle". All the buildings in this shopping district are reconstructed with the image of a Castle Town in 1603. Shop and stroll with an Old Town Atmosphere in the Edo Period. Later head to the ancient Capital of Japan, Kyoto. Our hotel is located in front of Kyoto Station and close to AEON Shopping Mall including UNIQLO, 100 Yen shop etc. After hotel check in, tour guide will take you to “Holo-Holo” around the hotel.

OCT. 19 (MON) KYOTO,

All Day Kyoto City Tour! Enjoy the “Most Historical City in Japan”, which was named as the “World’s Best City to Travel” for the second time in a row from 2014 by the U.S. magazine Travel + Leisure. Visit the World Heritage Site, “Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion)”. “One of the Most breathtaking Temples in Japan” which was built in the 14th Century. It is a “World Heritage Site” and picked as “One of Japan’s 36 Most Stunning Places” by CNN. The main pavilion is covered by gold leaf and situated picturesquely in its garden. Later visit the magnificent Heian Jingu Shrine, built on the occasion of the 1,100th Anniversary of the Heian Capital Foundation. Enjoy walking around its exquisitely landscaped strolling garden with a variety of plants, ponds and traditional buildings. Later visit Nishijin Textile Museum to enjoy seeing its Kimono Show. It is a good place to take in the beauty of gorgeous Nishijin Textiles which has a long history dating back to the 16th Century.

OCT. 20 (TUE) USHIMADO, OKAYAMA,
THE HOTEL LIMANI & SPA
Head to Nada in Kobe, the “Biggest Sake Producing area in Japan”, to visit the Hakutsuru Sake Museum.You will learn about Sake and sample the fine taste of the famous “Nada Sake”. You can enjoy shopping for a variety of Sakes, Narazuke Pickles, Soap, Cosmetics, etc. Then go to “Japan's First World Heritage Site”. Another one of CNN’s “Japan’s 36 Most Stunning Places” and widely considered as the “Most Beautiful and Spectacular Castle in Japan”. It is the finest surviving example of early 17th century Japanese Castle Architecture. It is called “White Heron Castle” because of its elegant, white appearance. You will be able to enter the main keep and climb up to the top floor. Then proceed to Ushimado, a seaside resort town overlooking the numerous beautiful islands dotting the Seto Inland Sea National Park. We will stay at a Greek Style Deluxe Resort Hotel located oceanfront of the Inland Sea. Enjoy a delightful ocean resort experience with panoramic ocean view called “Aegean Sea of Japan”.

OCT. 21 (WED) HIROSHIMA,

Proceed to Okayama to visit Korakuen Garden, another “One of the Three Most Beautiful Landscape Gardens in Japan”. It is a representative “Scenic Promenade” (Kaiyu Style) Garden of the Edo Period(1600-1868) that incorporates the typical features of a Japanese Landscape Garden. After enjoying a relaxing walk in the garden, proceed to Hiroshima, a popular tourist attraction with many sightseeing spots ranging from historical and moving attractions to religious beautiful sights. We will visit the Peace Park and see the Atomic Bomb Dome (Ruins of the Industry Promotion Hall). The “Only Atomic Bombed Building” remaining in the city has become a “Symbol of Hope and Peace”. Also visit the Peace Memorial Museum showing the history of Hiroshima before and after the bombing with meaningful exhibitions. Renovation work of the museum was finished in April 2019. We will be able to see newly completed exhibitions. Our hotel is connected to Hiroshima Station and its Shopping Area where you can find most of Hiroshima’s souvenirs. Department Stores are also within easy walking distance. We will take you to Holo-Holo after hotel check in.

OCT. 22 (THU) HIROSHIMA,

Visit “World Heritage Site” and “One of Japan’s Most Visited Tourist Spots”, Beautiful and Sacred "Miyajima Island" and the colorful "Itsukushima Shrine". It has traditionally been ranked as “One of the Top Three Scenic Spots in Japan” and another one of CNN’s “Japan’s 36 Most Stunning Places”. The Shrine has more than 1,400 years history and is known worldwide for its “Floating Shrine” buildings and its iconic "Torii Gate" that are unique for being built over water and seemingly floating in the sea during high tide. You can enjoy strolling along the charming walking paths on the sacred island. Later go to Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture to see its famous Kintai (Brocaded) Bridge originally built in 1673. It is “One of the Three Most Beautiful Bridges in Japan” because of its elegant form with five impeccable arches. You will be captivated by this world’s largest wooden bridge when you walk over the bridge.

OCT. 23 (FRI)OSAKA,
SHERATON MIYAKO HOTEL OSAKA
Then go to Hiroshima Station to catch the Shinkansen Bullet Train (max. speed 198 MPH) to Himeji. Upon arrival at Himeji, transfer to a bus and go to Miki a major production area of blades since ancient times. You will get a chance to buy Miki’s durable and incredibly sharp knives, scissors, nail clippers, etc. Later visit the AEON Shopping Mall to enjoy Shopping and Lunch. Then head to our hotel in Uehonmachi, Osaka. It is ideally located for shopping, eating, exploring and enjoying the atmosphere of Osaka. After hotel check-in it will be “Free Time” to finish Shopping, Packing, etc. Your rooms are paid for but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be At Your Own Expense. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing their gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

OCT. 24 (SAT) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check-out time our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Kansai International Airport to catch the international flight to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, OCTOBER 24, 2020 (SATURDAY). After clearing U.S. Customs proceed home. 

Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations. Members may return to Honolulu individually but no later than 3 months from day of departure. Weekday returns will cost less per person. Please call our office if you are extending your stay. MAHALO!
