About Me

I have over 20 years of clinical nursing experience specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing with extensive training as an infant heart transplant nurse, as an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) specialist RN, and a Transport Nurse. I joined the TMCC community in 2004 and received tenure in May 2008. I am currently teaching NURS 202 - Nursing Care 3 theory and the Pediatric clinical component of the course. I received my Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from San Bernardino Community College in San Bernardino, CA; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Nevada-Reno. I also received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering Degree from Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines.

Outside of my academic interests, I enjoy camping, cross-stitching, gardening, reading mystery and romance novels, and traveling.
