My name is Casey Machen. I am a math professor at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno.

My degrees are:

B.S. in math from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2011,

M.S. in math from Michigan State University in 2012, and

Ph.D. in math from Michigan State University in 2016

I have a wonderful daughter, Luca, born September 2019

I do all sorts of activities: gymnastics, weight lifting, rock climbing, swimming, hockey.

I play guitar. Sadly for me, I am a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

I enjoy the outdoors. I like skiing, snowboarding, hiking, anything with Lake Tahoe.
