No.  Trinity is open to all families that are looking for a personalized education stressing High Academic Standards and Christian-based values for their children

Is education at Trinity affordable for all families?

Yes. Although families pay tuition, Trinity utilizes a company called FACTS to help us determine financial aid, and then it also allows for easy payment schedules that are flexible for every family. An application form is filled out at the end of each school year for pre-registered families and at the beginning of each school year for new families.

What standardized tests do the students participate in?

Students participate in the MEAP in the Fall for Grades 3 – 8 and in the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills in the Winter and Spring for Grades 1 – 8. Average test scores show Trinity consistently scores above the state averages in all subjects.

Are we accredited?

Yes, we are accredited by NLSA [National Lutheran School Accreditation] and by MANS [Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools]. Accreditation is the process of self-evaluation and school improvement based on national standards and the school’s purpose. The purpose of National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) is to help Lutheran schools improve for the benefit of students and their families. MANS mirrors that process for non-public schools.

What extracurricular activities are available to students?

Band, Choir, Athletics (co-ed soccer, basketball for boys and girls, volleyball for girls, and co-ed track), Science Fair, MathCounts, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, and community service projects at all grade levels.

"Preparing God's children of today, to be His light in tomorrow's world and for eternity."

Is transportation available?

Not presently. We have recently been in conversation with Lumen Christi Catholic High School to perhaps develop a partnership for busing.

Do we have Before or After Care for students?

Before-Care” begins at 7:00 am and “After-Care” is available until 6:00 pm, at our Early Childhood Development Center, adjacent to the school.

Can parents participate in the life of the school?

Absolutely! Our parent group, Parents and Teachers in Lutheran Schools, encourages volunteerism and active participation in the life of the school.

Is there a vision for Trinity's future?

Our vision is that all families who want to send their children to our school would be able to, that we would share the Gospel message each day, and that the children would learn to be Christian citizens who are prepared to be servant leaders in the community and throughout the world.

We hope to be a school of technology, fine arts, and one that teaches the power of service learning. We have high academic standards and want to serve the Jackson community in a way that glorifies Christ.
