OSSLT @ FFSS


The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) is a standardized test that measures whether a student is meeting literacy standards across curriculum.  All students across the province write the same test on the same day.  Successful         completion of the OSSLT is a graduation requirement for students earning an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). 
                  
MOCK OSSLT TEST FOR ALL GRADE 10 STUDENTS
Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 - Periods 1 and 2       

Tuesday, April 18th, 2018 - Periods 1 and 2
    *the OSSLT will only be available in paper format*
                       
        IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
                    - Please report directly to your assigned location by 8:00am.  DO NOT go to your first period class. 
                        If you have forgotten where you are writing, see the list posted outside the main office. 
                    - Attendance will be taken by your proctor.
                    - You can write in pencil or blue/black ink only. 
                    - You are NOT permitted to bring any materials with you to your writing location.  
                    - Do NOT bring your phone.
                    - If you are a grade 10 student and not participating or a grade 9 or 11 student in a grade 10 period 1 or 2 class, please report to cafeteria.


        NOTE: EQAO has released a special bulletin regarding procedures if there are bus or school cancellations.  In TLDSB, schools always remain open            when buses are cancelled.  If buses are cancelled on Thursday March 30th and students can get to school b 9:15am, they will be permitted to write            the OSSLT. Please read the entire notice below.
