Thornapple Kellogg Alternative Education seeks to offer an alternative to the traditional high school environment and programming.  Students will complete the Michigan Merit Curriculum requirements for graduation, while taking advantage of career preparation programs at Kent Career Technical Center, job shadowing, and career planning coursework.  A small school environment with a focus on strong and trusting relationships, along with the flexibility provided through online classes, provide Thornapple Kellogg Alternative Education students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and prepare for life after graduation in a setting that focuses on the success of the individual.
