In the past 7 months TKEN has expanded its reach in a diverse manner as follows:

United Cerebral Palsy Association:

12/2012       Equipment donation of various wheelchairs and seating system components.

Chicago Public Schools:

1/2013          Attendance and joint presentation with Shriner's Hospital at Parent’s open house at the Wilma Rudolf School for children of special needs in 

                         Chicago.

1/2013          Reach out to Dr Stephanie Whyte, Chief Health Officer for CPS (www.cityofchicago.orgto introduce TKEN and discuss the possibility of better 

                        serving the children of Chicago Public Schools who have equipment needs.

University Of Illinois Chicago Hospital:

12/2012       Collaborate with Division of Services for Crippled Children caseworker servicing to provide equipment to several children

1/2013          Met with Lori Peculis from University of Illinois at Chicago to brainstorm about the possibility of setting up a TKEN equipment satellite clinic at 

                         the medical center to increase referrals & recipients of TKEN services.

 Early Intervention:

10/2012       Discuss collaborating with Early Intervention Programs with Child and Family Connection director Sharon Cunningham

Stroger Hospital:

8/2012         Met with Tony Preckwinkle President of the Cook County Board regarding collaborating with Cook County Stroger Hospital to discuss possibility 

                        of setting up a TKEN equipment satellite clinic at the medical center to increase referrals & recipients of TKEN services.   Met with the                 

                        Department of Pediatrics at Cook County Stroger Hospital to discuss the feasibility of holding TKEN equipment clinics at Stroger Hospital and 

                        modeling TKEN programs in the neighborhood to increase referrals & recipients of TKEN services.

  Governor Quinn:  

                            Reached to Governor Quinn on three separate occasions to introduce TKEN and to set up a meeting with him without response.

 New Elephant Resale Shop of Chicago:

                            Has promised portion of proceeds to TKEN.

            Elgin School District U46:

                                        TKEN had a booth at family Fair for 2/2013.

            Neighborhood Parent Network:

                                        TKEN had a booth at family Fair for 2/2013.

            Mitsubishi Chili cook-off:

                                          TKEN attended and was the recipient of the Mitsubishi annual Chili cook off fundraiser 2/2013.

            Knights of Columbus at St Philip parish in Addison:

                                        Met with Knights of Columbus at St Philip parish in Addison to introduce TKEN and schedule the first annual Spaghetti Jazz and Meatballs 

                                        fundraiser along with the Indian Trail Middle School Jazz & Big Bands;  Schaumburg District 54 Jazz Band & the Addison Trail HS Jazz Band

             Porter Pipe Company Addison Illinois

                                        Partner with Porter Pipe Company in Addison Illinois to store TKEN equipment donations
 
             Alden Village for Children Bloomingdale Illinois

                                         Ongoing partnership with Alden Village for Children Bloomingdale Illinois to store TKEN equipment donations and hold monthly TKEN equipment clinics

             Len's Ace Hardware Addison Illinois
 
                                          Ongoing partnership with Len's Ace Hardware in Addison Illinois to store TKEN equipment donations  

            Ongoing Donations to United Seating & Mobility, National Seating & Mobility, United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Chicagoland & the Muscular Dystrophy 
            Association of static equipment in our inventory.
      

            Ongoing partnership with Shriner's Hospital for Children Chicago Unit to store TKEN Equipment and provide equipment to the Shriner's hospital children.

            Reaching out to the Helping from Heaven Lexi Kazian Foundation to help to provide requested equipment that they may not have in their inventory.
