Dear TJCA-CFA Families:

Thank you all for helping us begin another great year at TJCA-CFA so successfully!  

On Thursday, August 31, a photographer from IDENT-AKID will be at the grammar school in the morning, then on the upper campus around Noon to help you create student safety ID cards.  K-8 families should return the application form to your child's homeroom teacher by this Thursday morning if you would like to be part of this program.  For more info, go to:

Our Western NC TeamCFA schools are working together to collect much needed basic necessities to send to the Houston area next week to help provide relief from the devastation of hurricane Harvey. Our item is cases of bottled water.  Please help by dropping a case or two off at school no later than Tuesday morning, September 5th.  Thank you!

The month of September will bring many busy activities, including many home sporting events. Please check our website calendar for scheduling details, and note too that all home and away varsity games are listed on the maxpreps website at MaxPreps TJCA.   

Our grammar school is pleased to invite all of our families to our annual Book Fair, September 18-22, in the grammar school library!  This year has a Western theme that you will not want to miss.

As a reminder, we respectfully request that our bus riding families consider a $50 per month donation to help keep our buses running.  If writing a check, please add 'bus donation' in the memo line, and mail to attn: 
Mrs. Shumate on the upper campus, or drop a check off at any of the offices.

 " The Burgundy and Gold Scholarship Committee would like thank the TJCA family for our most successful year yet.  We are awarding $23,500 to eight seniors from the class of 2017!  Congratulations to all the seniors.  We are so proud of each of you and wish you all the best in your next endeavors.
