Dear TJCA-CFA Families:

As a reminder to last month's update on the school calendar, please note that we will have full school days throughout March, leading up to our Easter break, which begins with no school on Good Friday, March 30.  We will return to school on Monday, April 9 after the break.  Our next Noon Release scheduled date is Friday, April 27, prior to the Burgundy and Gold golf tournament.

We remind all of our families to help spread the word that the new student application deadline is fast approaching for the 2018/19 school year!   Applications must be completed by the March 15 deadline to be included in our new student lottery on March 26 at 4:30PM.  Remember too that siblings of currently enrolled students who wish to begin school with us for the first time in August 2018 must complete a new student online application as well, but will have first priority in the lottery for available positions, as long as applications are received prior to the March 15 deadline.

Don't miss out on the special 2017/18 yearbook edition, highlighting our tenth anniversary of the grammar school program!     The deadline to order is FEBRUARY 28!
Congratulations to Jeb Rollins and Camryn Walker for winning Mrs. Brown's 2017-2018 Yearbook Poster contest!

Please join us on March 1 and 2 in Leitner Auditorium at 6PM as the TJCA Dance Project presents Aaron Copland's, "Rodeo".   Copland music brings to life cowboys, cattle rustling, and the big skies of the old West.  Come out and enjoy our students' rendition of the music of Aaron Copland, a true American classical musician. This is a free performance, and donations are very welcome to help support our great dance program at TJCA!

Come and support our nationally ranked academic teams this Saturday, March 3, at the regional NCASA tournament.  TJCA is hosting the 12 team tournament in our high school building between 9AM and 3 PM. See our young scholars in some highly competitive matches against teams from all over the region.  Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase.  Also, please consider making a donation to the team to support our travels to national competitions where we serve as ambassadors for TJCA.  Checks can be made out to TJCA, with Academic Team in the memo line, and they can be sent in to the high school office.

On March 23, 24 and 25, please join us again in Leitner Auditorium for our spring drama production of
"Fair Maid of the West", an action/comedy by Thomas Heywood, originally performed around 1631. Thanks to the support of Conner Computer Consultants and the Marshal family, we are presenting an adaptation by Kevin Theis. It is a swashbuckling adventure that follows Bess Bridges, a Plymouth tavern girl, as she pursues her fiance and her fortune across the globe. We are taking a sci-fi look at the story, adding a few new twists to a classic tale. Shows will be at 7:00PM on March 23, 24, and 25, with tickets going on sale the week of the show. Pre-sale tickets will be $5  (, or you can purchase at the door for $7.

Also note that the March 23 performance is immediately following our community presentation of our new building plans, so make it a great night with the family!

2020 Vision Update!

As a friendly reminder, we respectfully request that our bus riding families consider a $50 per month donation to help keep our buses running.  If writing a check, please add 'bus donation' in the memo line, and mail to attn:  Finance Office or Mrs. White on the upper campus, or drop a check off at any of the offices.
