Welcome to BES PE Department Website!! We have 3 PE teachers in the gym who educate your students on the importance of staying active. We also teach lifelong wellness sports and activities that can be played in the yard.

We have three physical educators:
Sherry Wilson    swilson@tipton-county.com
Dean Brown      dbrown@tipton-county.com
Jeremy Carter    Jcarter@tipton-county.com

Remember to wear your gym shoes for P.E.

Our gym rules are few:
Keep your hands and your feet to yourself.
   Follow all directions.
Respect one another and be kind.

Spring is here.  Its a great time to take your family outside and enjoy the outdoors.  Be intentional with your family time by planning to spent leisure and recreational time together.  Here in West Tennessee there are many options: hiking, fishing, camping, riding, frisbee, golf, baseball, tennis, or a picnic.  If your children are young, take the time to teach and train them to play.  The best investment that you will ever make is in people.  Your family is a great place to start.

If you have an action picture of you child playing, working, or moving, send it to my email dbrown@tipton-county.com.  I would like to add your child's picture to my "Get Moving" wall outside my office.  Examples: playing a sport, riding a horse, gardening, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, or playing.

Plan to play!  Laughter and exercise reduces stress and builds relationships.
