Welcome to BES PE Department Website!! We have 2 PE teachers in the gym who educate your students on the importance of staying active and healthy.  We also teach lifelong wellness sports and activities that can be played in the yard.

We have two physical educators:
Sherry Wilson    swilson@tipton-county.com
Dean Brown      dbrown@tipton-county.com

Remember to wear your gym shoes for P.E.

Our gym rules are few:
Keep your hands and your feet to yourself.
   Follow all directions.
Respect one another and be kind.

It's spring time.  The opportunities are plentiful in West Tennessee to enjoy the outdoors. Plan to play!  Laughter and exercise reduces stress and builds relationships when you give your time to your family.

Take a walk together
Walk your dog together
Spend the weekend camping
Play catch: football, baseball, frisbee
Play wiffle ball or kick ball
Play a game of short field soccer
Plant a garden
Pull weeds in a flower bed
Play corn hole
Play a game of basketball: around the world, horse, 1 on 1 or 2 on 2
Play on a play ground

If you have an action picture of your child playing, working, or moving, send it to our emails dbrown@tipton-county.com or swilson@tipton-county.com.   We would like to add your child's picture to our wall.  Examples: playing a sport, riding a horse, gardening, camping, training a dog, hunting, digging a hole, carrying firewood, fishing, yard work, farm chores, hiking or working with your parent.  We want to celebrate hard work and physical exercise and the benefits of effort and job well done.

K-5th grade are working on fitness post testing and small group games.
