Ideas in Malcom X biography evoke live discussion
Class reading Malcom X
As in years passed... our students are learning to read their world around them utilizing a seminal text, Malcom X's autobiography.  The students read through the life of one of the world's most prolific revolutionaries.  They are able to draw upon their own life experiences and relate them to those of Malcom's, uncovering and exploring relevant issues of race, class, oppression, and transformational resistance.  This book continues to be an inspiring text for our students in the program.
