Welcome to The Peak Academy

Welcome to the website of The Peak Academy.

Everything we do we believe in challenging the status quo, we think differently at The Peak Academy. We motivate and engage children to believe in themselves through matching the care and education to meet their needs. We believe that all pupils regardless of their backgrounds and issues can achieve beyond their expectations with support and guidance from professional, exciting and inspirational staff. We encourage, nurture and challenge pupils to do their best in every aspect of their development. We have high expectations of staff and pupils. We provide outstanding care and education for our pupils.

It really is a wonderful environment in which to learn, or work, and we are extremely proud of our achievements and pupils. We are proud of our Academy and we are a vibrant, outward looking community. Our pupils are encouraged to work independently and seize the opportunities offered to them, including a rich programme of curricular activities. We help them to develop high aspirations and to work to the highest standards, ensuring our pupils leave with the best options open to them.

We are committed to active, creative, reflective learning, maximised by encouragement to each individual pupil to achieve their best in every aspect of their development. We celebrate innovation and are committed to nurturing high self- esteem and respect for others. We believe that everyone can learn both socially and academically, becoming dynamic, independent thinkers with a lifelong love of learning. We believe this is best achieved by asking questions, solving problems and making thoughtful decisions.

Please do take time and explore the website. I am sure that you will be highly impressed by the range and quality of activities offered and the creative pupils who attend The Peak Academy.

We are all filled with potential, it's just that some of us don't know how much or how to access it. "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us"(Ralph Waldo Emerson).
