We're enrolling for the 2026-27 school year--including 3K!
ESPA (Earth School Parent Association)
The Earth School Parent Association (ESPA) is an essential bridge between families and staff to build community, to enrich the student experience, and raise much-needed funds to support our school.
ESPA continues, year after year, to ensure that our teachers and staff have the resources to carry out our school’s unique mission. We plan events, host parties, and bring people together. We believe that all children should experience field trips, camps, and performing arts enrichment, regardless of their socio-economic background.
Each year, the ESPA commits to paying for over $40,000 of programs that benefit every student:
Extra enrichment classes—$11,000
Camps and field trips—$13,000
Sex ed program for fifth graders—$8,000
Essential classroom supplies for our incredible teachers—$5,000
School picnic, yearbook, graduation, and other events—$5,000
All families are members of the ESPA—come to a meeting to get to know other parents, make some friends, and make a difference in your school!
SLT (School Leadership Team)
The SLT is composed of both parents and teachers who discuss issues affecting the school community and plan various school-wide events. The SLT meets monthly and all are welcome to attend and have their voice heard.
Class Parents
Class Parents build community within their class and grade level, serving as an important liason between teachers, families, and the ESPA. Have an idea to bring your class closer together? Reach out to your class parent!
Garden Gnomes
Our beautiful rooftop garden is an incredible resource for our students, and it is maintained through the love and dedication of our wonderful family volunteers.
Annually in the spring, the entire school community–leadership, educators, and parents–come together learn about, discuss and reflect on the practices that make the Earth School such a unique community.
Throughout the year, Earth School teachers host workshops for parents where they share and showcase the Earth School's approach to subjects such as reading, math, movement and art, as well as topics such as tech use in the classroom setting.
