Geography is a popular subject in the school and we strive to provide our students with a wide range of exciting learning experiences. Our students study a wide range of topics at Key Stage 3 from “starting with a bang” about plate tectonics in Year 7 to “fair enough?” about globalisation and equality in Year 9 . Our aim is to enthuse and motivate all of our students to develop a real awareness of the world around them.

At Key Stage 4 we offer two different GCSEs: AQA GCSE geography and AQA GCSE environmental science. By offering this range of courses we provide our students with the opportunity to study real life issues and in a learning style that is best suited to their needs.

Our A-level specification is Edexcel and we enjoy learning about a range of topics: the world at risk, going global, crowded coasts and rebranding places.
