Monksilver sits on the fringe of Exmoor National Park and the eastern flank of the Brendon Hills with the Quantock Hills not far away. It is a tranquil and unspoilt village in West Somerset, with the Coleridge Way footpath running through.  Monksilver is very pretty and includes traditional thatched cottages, an ancient church and local pub (currently being refurbished - reopening July 2013).  A wide range of amenities are available in the nearby town of Williton, around 3 miles away. The surrounding area is regarded as being some of the most attractive countryside in the West Country and offers numerous opportunities for outdoor pursuits such as riding, walking and cycling.
