Why Join the ASOC?
  • It's a chance to make a difference on campus, and let important issues concerning students be heard and discussed.
  • You can participate in Campus Activities events, and get to "Run the Fun" as their slogan says.
  • Different Committees in ASOC let you get some hands-on experience in marketing, budgeting, making legislative decisions and more.
  • Leadership skills can be honed as you make ideas into workable projects.
  • You get to meet people who are passionate about representing the students' voice, and connect with others who share the same interests.
  • There are Campus Wide Committees that you can join, which consists of both students, faculty and staff members, so that you can be up to date on news about the College, and have a platform to voice meaningful student opinion.
  • Learn a wide variety of knowledge among your peers, and share your knowledge as well.
  • Overall, help make Ohlone a better college community.
