ALL Scholars: Please be sure to be reading 20 minutes per night and this includes every night during the weekends.
We also write for 30 minutes self-selected writing every weekend.

Supply Lists for 2018-2019 (Please scroll down to find your list!)

Supplies: Please note that the asterisk means that you MUST use the supply ONLY for this class. Please label each with first and last name, my last name, class name and period. 

6th grade

1 composition notebook per semester*( For daily writing and grammar)*

1 pocket folder with fasteners.* Loose leaf in the fasteners and in one of the pockets.* (For spelling)

1  3-subject spiral* (for reading work, English notes, and vocabulary)*

1  Binder( 1 and 1/2" minimum, but can go to 2" if you want to store other material in the notebook)*. This will be for self-selected writing. 

A book of choice (always have this in class--I also have a small lending library)

Pens (blue and or black AND other colors for editing such as green, red etc). Steady supply is important. 

Highlighters

Hand-held pencil sharpener

Scotch Tape (3 rolls--refill rolls or self-sustaining. They will be left here for whole year for ongoing use)*

Small pair of scissors

3x5 index cards (constant supply)

Loose leaf paper (constant supply)

Sticky notes

USB drive any size

6th grade Fundamental Connections/RIA (Note the class meets at the same time every day and is with same teacher. Do NOT repeat the supplies!)

1  3 subject notebook

9th grade Honors English

Please note that after Tuesday, August 6, scholars will be expected to have all supplies with them in class. There will be no extra locker trips. If there is a reason the scholar cannot get supplies by this date, PLEASE feel free to contact me, so we can make alternate arrangements!
