Disaster Ready is an online Humanitarian Aid Training for disaster relief and response. Improving disaster & emergency preparedness by making training more accessible at no cost.
Some of the modules will take you through to DisasterReady.org modules. To access these you will need to register with DisasterReady. Please see below for details on how to do this:
How can I register for DisasterReady.org?
Visit DisasterReady.org and click on Start Learning Now. This will take you to a page where you will need to create a DisasterReady account. This should only take a couple of minutes. You do not need to provide anything where it asks for a Special Event/Code. You will now be registered and able to take courses.
How can I register for courses?
After registering, you can go to DisasterReady.org by clicking the "Login" button. You can then use your email ID and password to login to the portal.
Once inside, you can search through the catalogue of eLearning modules, webinars, and external resources by using the search box on the top-right corner of the screen or by clicking one of the topics on the left-hand-side of the screen in the box labeled "Browse Training." Once you find a course you are interested in, simply click "Launch" or "Request."
Are there any specific technical requirement for using DisasterReady.org?
DisasterReady.org works well on most modern web browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Please update your browser to the latest version for the best learning experience.
In addition, some courses may require:
• A headset or speakers for audio
• The latest version of Adobe Flash (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/).
