The 6th Team Dai Challenge was another big success. Fund raising efforts have generated US$19,748, the official record for a Team Dai challenge! All the money raised was transferred to the local organization AFESIP Laos (www.afesiplaos.org) which combats the causes and consequences of human trafficking and sexual exploitation of Laotian women and girls. The organization was extremely grateful, mentioning that the Team Dai support will made a huge difference in the running of the program and in the life of the AFESIP supported victims.

The ride itself was, as its name suggests, a real challenge. Twenty-three riders of 7 different nationalities pushed their limits to complete a trying Vientiane to Luang Prabang route through some very remote and beautiful parts of the country. The total distance was 380 km in 3 days, including a 12 km long climb with more 2,000m of elevation gain. For all the riders, these three days will remain a very special memory.
