The National Development Teams Program of Floorball Canada is embarking on a journey to be an elite Floorball nation by 2018, and the U19 National Floorball Teams leading up to 2018 will form the foundation for the future Men's National Teams.  Floorball Experience is welcomed,  however the U19 program is seeking individuals who wish to grow and learn in a mentorship environment from GM and Coach leaders of our National Teams Program.  This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in professional sports management, sports marketing and elite level coaching.

Canada’s Men’s U19 National Floorball Team is recruiting volunteers to
fill the following staff positions:

1.    General Manager
2.    Assistant General Manager
3.    Head Coach
3.    Assistant Coach
4.    Trainer/Athletic Therapist
5.    Equipment Manager

The team will compete at the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships in May 2013 and possibly a World Floorball Championships Qualification match against the United States to be played at an earlier date.  Please note this is a volunteer position and all staff members are responsible for covering the cost of their transportation, accommodation and all other expenses.  Costs are estimated at $2400.  Collective team efforts will be made to fundraise to reduce this cost.  All applicants must have a valid passport, to expire on or after November 11, 2013.

We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals with strong leadership qualities that are serious about being part of a winning team.  All members are expected to play significant roles to not only the team but also the development of the team starting as early as April 1st, 2012 and ending on May 31st, 2013.

For a more complete list of expectations and duties, please contact Marc Kronewitt, National Team Committee member at marc.kronewitt@floorballcanada.ca or Greg Beaudin, National Team Committee member at greg.beaudin@floorballcanada.ca.

To apply, please send cover letter and resume to Marc Kronewitt
at marc.kronewitt@floorballcanada.ca no later than FEBRUARY 25th, 2012.
