What are Google Sites?

Sites is a tool used to create websites.  While there are many potential uses of websites (projects, reflections, communication, collaboration, etc), the main purpose of Sites in TDSB is for the creation and maintenance of student digital e-portfolios.  Like other Google Apps for Education, Sites can be created and edited individually or collaboratively. Like other Google Docs, Sites begin as private but can be shared with students and staff and made available for public viewing.

Who has access to Sites?
All staff and students in grades 4 - 12 will have access to Sites and be able to create web sites.

How do I access Sites?
Staff and students will access Sites from the Google tab in Academic Workspace (aw.tdsb.on.ca), from home and school, 24/7.

For questions, please visit the FAQ page. Any remaining questions you might have may be directed to Kevin Bradbeer, Co-ordinator - Teaching & Learning with Technology, at kevin.bradbeer@tdsb.on.ca
