What is GSuite for Education (formerly Google Apps for Education) ?
GSuite for Education is a suite of online tools that include Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Calendar and Contacts.

Google Apps allow anyone with internet access to access their documents via Google Drive anytime, anywhere.

Google Apps are collaborative documents where multiple users can view or edit documents at the same time, in "real time"
Watch the short overview video on this page for additional information.

TDSB is a GSuite for Education customer, which means that our district has access to all of Google's Educational products and services at no cost, with no advertising, in our own private and secure environment.  Moreover, all TDSB staff & students are automatically given GAFE accounts. Students and teachers use GSuite for Education tools to facilitate the learning experience and other school related activities including submitting assignments, communicating with teachers and other students on school activities and submitting identification verification data necessary to use the Apps. Student information is collected pursuant to Education Act including s.169.1-173 as may be amended from time to time.
