"Music can change the world because it can change people."        - Bono
Happy 2018! In addition to having some cool music experiences in their home classrooms, Grades K-5 will occasionally be making music with Ms. Jenkins. Now is the time to begin thinking about performing in the Spring Show! This is a chance for any student to show off their creative talents by performing music-related for the school community. Auditions will be held for grades K -5 during music classes, through the week of April 23. Middle School students who wish to audition will need to arrange a time with Ms. Jenkins. The Spring Show will be held on Friday, May 25, 9:00 AM to approximately 10:00 AM. There will be a tech rehearsal on Thursday morning, May 24. All students who will be involved in the show are expected to attend the tech rehearsal.

Here are some ways you can enrich our TCPS community with music. Can you think of some more?

*Bring in a song , dance , instrument or music-related item , or an interesting fact to share or teach in class !
*Prepare and perform some music for your classmates !
*Prepare a musical performance for the Spring Show !

See you soon for some music-making :-)
    Ms. Jenkins
